Go into TV menu β SETTINGS β GENERAL β NETWORK β NETWORK STATUS and select NETWORK RESET. Change IP SETTINGS in TV menu β DNS SERVER to 8.8.8.8. Update the firmware on your TV to the newest version. Turn off all firewalls as a test to be sure this is not causing issues. Go back to TV and try to connect to WIFI.
2. 0. 10,510. Nov 20, 2012. #3. The frequency and color of the blinks will indicate the issue. There is a hold-down button sequence to try to backdoor your way into the set to see if the panel will light. You may have simply racked up too many "weird tuner faults" and need to reset it.
Same problem for me. Before 1 year warranty it was black screen. Contacted sharp as was fixed as it was in warranty. Now same problem again which will be not fixed by sharp as it is not under warranty. Not happy with Sharp 58β Roku tv. Looks like wastage of money. Stay away from sharp.
If you need to reset your Sharp TV after a power outage, press on Menu on your Remote and then on System and then on Factory Reset. Then press on Play or on the OK button three times. If this doesnβt work, then try a hard reset. Unplug your TV from the power source. Press Input and Channel Down on the TV panel.

The tv was working just fine until able 12 today when the screen went black. I figured it was the cable so left alone. there was an issue with the Xfinity TV box but that is resolved but the tv does not turn on. Not with either the xfinity remote not the Sharp remote.
